Update Survey Grid Cell Selection

Use this form to update the number of cameras you are willing to deploy and the survey grid cells where you are willing and able to survey.

Enter the same email address you used when you joined the Texas Wildlife Census team. We use your email to locate your participant record and update your selections. Refer to the link to our privacy policy at the bottom of the page for more information.

Select the number of cameras you are willing to deploy. Please consider that for each camera, you will need to travel to a distinct grid cell, set up the camera, retrieve the camera after one month, and upload images from the SD card. You can update your selection any time using this page.

Please select all the grid cells where you are willing and able to set up a trail camera. You can update your selection at any time using this page.

Where can you survey?

Areas that you are able to survey may include your own property, a friend's property where you have permission to set up a trail camera, or public property where you have permission. Keep in mind that even urban areas can provide valuable wildlife insights.

Use Explore Map to move across the map. Use Select Grid Cells to select individual cells or drag a box over multiple cells.
